Sherwin Rivers Ltd is now looking for an enthusiastic graphic design student or school leaver with an interest in design and advertising to join our creative team based in Staffordshire. We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic creative young person to join our busy studio and dedicated print shop – the job has fantastic prospects for the successful candidate.

This opportunity is offered by Sherwin Rivers Ltd through an apprenticeship in Graphic Design at Newcastle-under-Lyme College (day release) at Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Design or Level 2 Certificate in Design (QCF).

The role will involve creating design and artwork for a broad spectrum of commercial and private sector work including; logo design, stationery, marketing material, large format artwork for vehicle wraps, roller banners and exhibition stands – whilst learning to operate digital and large format print systems on a range of modern xerox, roland and graphitec print and production machines.

Required Skills & Experience

This course is part of an Apprenticeship framework and requires a minimum of 4 GCSEs grade C or above, including Maths and English. If you do not have suitable Maths, English or IT qualifications, you will complete initial assessments to identify you can achieve functional skills at level 2.
