Sherwin Rivers Ltd is now looking for an experienced, enthusiastic graphic design and digital print operative to join our team based in Staffordshire. We are looking for a talented graphic designer and creative artworker to join our busy studio – the job has fantastic prospects for an enthusiastic and hardworking person.

The role requires design and artwork for a broad spectrum of creative work including; logo design, stationery and marketing material, large format artwork for vehicle wraps, roller banners and exhibition stands etc – you will be expected to oversee projects from concept to production liaising with clients and colleagues.

The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and possess a flexible attitude and willingness to work across a variety of projects simultaneously in the time available.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ Years in-house graphic design experience is essential
  • A thorough working knowledge of Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop on a Mac platform
  • An understanding of print production considerations such as; image resolution and the fundamentals of print processes to prepare files for pre-press production
  • Experience in running Xerox digital printing presses and Roland large format machines
  • A creative thinker who can develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Strong artwork skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Diligent time management with the ability to organise and prioritise multiple projects in a busy deadline oriented environment
  • You must be self-motivated and well organised
  • You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • You will need to integrate well into a small team
  • Demonstrate use of own initiative and when necessary with minimal creative direction
  • Full, Clean Driving Licence
  • You should have a passion for modern design ideas and techniques and the motivation to keep up to date on changes within the industry
  • You should be a proactive team player with a positive can-do attitude
